Research Areas
The Computer Engineering program is one of several graduate research programs
in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department
at Texas A&M University. The
Computer Engineering Group has ongoing research encompassing the broad
areas of VLSI, CAD, systems, Fault tolerance, networking and distributed/parallel
systems. Some of the current research projects include:
- Computer Aided Design and Synthesis
- Testing and Design for Testablity
- Fault Tolerant Computing
- Storage and I/O systems
- Architectural support for multimedia
- Networking support for multimedia
- Parallel and distributed algorithms
